Fit and Blend Grip Safety

Our grip safety fit starts at the mill. We tram the thumb safety hole on the rotary table and machine the tangs to a perfect radius. The frame tangs are milled to slightly over a .250 radius and are fit the rest of the way by hand. We prefer to use .250 radius grip safeties with the exception of Springfield Armory frames which tend to work best with .220 radius safeties. We are big fans of EGW .245 and John Harrison .240 radius safeties for use with frames that have over cut .250 radius frame tangs from the factory. Parts included (refinishing charges are separate)
